U.S. College graduates share tips

On March 25, 2017 EducationUSA hosted a graduate information session for Zimbabwean professionals interested in higher education opportunities in the U.S.  Thirty-three participants, from different academic and professional backgrounds attended the session, which was facilitated by a panel of American and Zimbabweans who graduated from U.S. universities. The highly interactive session covered topics around identifying appropriate universities, completing the application requirements for those universities and possible ways of financing one’s education.

Workshop on applying to U.S. graduate programs

Prospective students received first-hand information and appreciated what it takes to succeed in an American graduate program as they plan for their studies in the United States.  EducationUSA assists Zimbabwean students to access United States higher education, by providing current, comprehensive and accurate information about studying at American institutions. It is part of the U.S. Embassy and runs a membership-based center that works closely with students. Our Advising Centers are based at Eastgate, 7th Floor, Goldbridge in Harare, NUST-American Space in Bulawayo, Gweru Memorial Library and in Mutare at the Turner Memorial Library.

If you would like us to host a session, on any aspect of the application processes, to the U.S. please let us know, and we will be happy to do so. We also give advice on a walk-in basis and will be happy to receive any queries.
